I started cat-sitting at the age of 10 and started dog-sitting at the age of 15. My family has always had at least one cat in the house and our family got our first dog, a bichon named Baby, when I was 9. Five years later we got Sofie, a malshi. In May 2021 I added Lizzie, a bichpoo, to our family. I have cared for a number of breeds including bichon, havenese, yorkie, boston terrier, shih tzu, pomeranian, maltese, poodle, and bernedoodle as well as ages ranging from 14 weeks to 14 years. My relationship with all dogs is based on love and respect. I am a strong advocate for fear free and positive reinforcement training techniques and believe dogs are members of our families. I am firmly against any form of abuse and do not yell at, hit, scare, intimidate, or punish dogs in any way. I only accept one client at a time for boarding/day care and will only accept drop-in visits for one other client while boarding. If I am not boarding, I can accept 2 clients per day for drop-in visits. I will give your dog(s) all the love and attention they deserve, send you as many updates, pictures, and videos as you would like, and follow any specific directions you leave me to the absolute best of my ability. I understand how difficult it is to trust someone new with your pet(s), and I will do my best to make sure you and your pet(s) feel comfortable while they’re in my care.
