Alex had the unenviable challenge of watching Nellie Rae only days after we lost her brother. We were worried that she would be out of sorts, but Alex was so good with and for her. Long walks, car rides, lots of attention...she kept Nellie busy and us informed through texts and photos. Our girl was a happy girl and that meant everything to us. Alex was kind, patient and compassionate. As long as she's available, she'll be the only sitter we ever book.

Alex was a phenomenal dog sitter...and so much more. I had to find a new sitter in a new town due to a family emergency, and found Alex on Rover. Alex exceeded my expectations in every way. She engaged with Luna throughout the day, took walks, and even took Luna on drive. Luna loved her time with Alex, always eager to go back, and even sitting with Alex as we talked. After we left each day, Alex loaded pictures of Luna's day, which just reinforced how much Luna enjoyed her time with Alex, and Alex was incredibly flexible regarding dropoff and pick up times. Alex and her husband Ben also helped me through a very difficult personal period, talking each night, providing support throughout the day, sharing their experiences, and even giving hugs when needed. I highly recommend Alex and will definitely use again should I have a need in Bloomington.
