Pet care experience
Besides having my own pets my whole life, I worked as a pet sitter and dog walker at a small local doggy daycare in my area when I was in college. I have experience with pet sitting (overnight stays) hosting pets at my house, walking, basics training, administering medicine, special feeding, bathing, and doggy daycare supervision!

Alexandra rates much higher than 5 stars. She is a delight, refined and intelligent as a person and as a pet sitter. Somehow she managed to efficiently do all tasks and then she was like a cat psychologist, gently, step by step trying to coax our cat B'Nai to come out of hiding and play. She had a particularly challenging situation with a major storm interrupting travel and causing area power failures including our home and hers bit she made it to our home reassuring us that B'Nai was safe and warm. Alexandria is fantastic so smart I had many specifics like food portions and she took it all in stride . She is very pleasant. This was a first visit and though B'Nai and Mitzvah did not come out from hiding I am sure that when she is here for 2 weeks in March they will meet her and love her.
Alexandra is very communicative and the cats seem to enjoy her company very much. Quick to respond and flexible, even with short notice. I am very grateful for the attention she gives to them when I am away.
Alex was very responsive and friendly with communication. She has an obvious love of cats and dogs. She walked our dog for an hour for three days and played with her also. We definitely hope to seek out Alex in the future!

Safety comes first for me, so I do everything I can to ensure your dog will be safe and happy at all times, including: using a crate, using a leash outdoors at all times if requested / necessary, 24/7 supervision of outdoor playtime. Additionally, I always try to entertain and engage with your pets as best I can to ward off boredom and keep them comforted when they are home alone!

A typical day
I love to train and engage with all animals! I like to use treats as rewards, especially on walks. During walks I like to allow pups to sniff around and explore. At home, I love playing with toys, practicing commands, and testing treat puzzles!

Availability
I have a full time job, but I really missed my time working with animals and decided it would be fun to continue it part time! I will be available especially on weekends and occasionally throughout the week after work to care for / walk your pets!
