I believe that dogs are the best people. I have been caring for rescue dogs since I was a child. I have two wonderful dogs of my own named Taiko and Pochi. I manage a small business with a flexible schedule, mostly working from home and my partner works from home full-time. If your pup stays with me, I can promise tons of snuggles and fun. Our backyard has a grassy dog run for playtime. There’s wonderful hills to explore in our neighborhood. We spend the weekends taking long walks around St Isabel dog park. We have a securely fenced backyard for playtime. Dogs beds in every room. I converted our breakfast nook into a space where dogs can rest comfortably with fresh water, toys, comfy bed, and a gate if they need space.

A typical day
Since our dogs are seniors, we keep activities lowkey and flexible based on how rambunctious or relaxed they are feeling. Walks in the neighborhood, playing with a bucket of toys, running in the backyard, or sitting in cozy sunspots around the house.

Availability
Daily routine is 8am feeding and a walk. I take the dogs out in the backyard every 2-4 hours for a break and play. Feeding and a walk again at 6pm. Final backyard break just before 10pm, then I have them sleep in our “dog bedroom” (converted breakfast nook) for the night.
