I have always loved animals. I grew up with primarily dogs; at one point having six rescues because we couldn't say no. I have gone to law school but have since realized that animals are my true passion. I would like to help in anyway I can because I believe that animals are sentient beings. If I could be the soothing voice or calming hand while his or her owner is gone that would give me peace of mind as well. Your dog would love being with me because on weekends we would go hiking to new locations and during the week besides the normal walks in the park we could be T.V. buddies as I do my chores about the house. I have no problem with dogs being on the furniture but of course I respect the owners' wishes. (i.e. -- please don't let them jump to greet you). I speak to dogs as if they were human, understanding that each has his or her own unique personality. I am pretty flexible and I'm sure there is nothing that can't be negotiated.
