Pet care experience
My husband and I would love to meet and care for any pets! We have 3 kittens and I have a chihuahua mix named Simba, who’s 7. Simba is with us part time. I’ve helped take care of my friends’ dogs plenty of times for over ten years. Sometimes I help my friend at the vet she works at. I am not out of the house most of the time and I have two boys who love animals. I live in a home in a private neighborhood with plenty of space and a fence in progress. I am in a great walking neighborhood and close to Birch Bay. It is very easy for me to befriend other animals, and I can adapt easy to whatever they are comfortable with!

Alexandra was wonderful and welcoming. She was so kind to my Labradoodle and made my best canine friend feel right at home. Alexandra was superb at communicating! I always knew how to reach her and vice versa and she gave my dog plenty of praise and attention. Five stars! I will use her home again. It was a great experience.
Did a great job with hazel!! Even got her out to a park for some playtime!! Couldn’t ask for more.

We have an almost fenced yard with plenty of space and sometimes will have a 7 year old chihuahua mix to play with your dog(s). Our floor plan is spacious and they will have plenty of space to play. If your pet is not friendly with kittens, our kittens may be relocated to a family member during this time or separated in a room.

I don’t have a preference for dogs unless they are overly excited when it comes to kids. I can care for special needs dogs really well.
A typical day
We will go on a walk, play outside a ton with Simba if he’s here, play inside with toys, do some tricks and earn treats, explore the environment nearby and go to one of the parks or the beach.

Availability
Our schedule is pretty flexible, so pet care is easily worked in fine. During the school year though, my husband and I work in schools, so we are out during school day hours. Our housemate would be at home though, who is a vet tech.
