I’m Alex. With over ten years of professional pet care experience, I’ve looked after dogs of many breeds, ages, and sizes. In addition to dogs, I’ve cared for cats and other animals as well. In one of my most rewarding pet sitting roles, I assisted in training two Labrador puppies through adulthood. I learned to utilize treat training, establish feeding times, and create a crate-training schedule. I am a senior Public Health student at UMD Shady Grove with an extensive background in biological sciences and life sciences. I love to be around animals, and in my free time, I like to go for hikes and volunteer at the Humane Society. I am happiest when I’m either outdoors or have animals around me – preferably both! I’m a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter with great references. I have an extremely flexible schedule and will be a responsible and compassionate caretaker for your dog. I’m a licensed driver with a car and offer both drop-in visits and dog walks. I have experience training puppies and working with special-needs and senior canines.
