For your own benefit, PLEASE READ the ENTIRETY of my profile before booking, as it goes through many important details concerning all Rover stays! I am a friendly, responsible, avid animal lover with experience in pet care (both my own and others) for 8+ years. I work in the beauty business and make my own schedule - therefore, my availability tends to be quite open and flexible! I'm a cat person at heart, but an all-around animal lover nonetheless. I am very active and enjoy exercising animals. I have cared for dogs of all ages, from 7-week old puppies to aged seniors, and am conscientious and courteous with accommodating the various needs every individual dog has. I am open to grooming, and have no issue going out of my way to address any special obligations required to assist your animal. I would absolutely love the chance to take care of your fur baby! Things to note: - Housesitting services include 1 walk per day, morning/evening feedings, overnight supervision, and reasonable midday check-ins when necessary. Some of my work days can get very busy, so flexibility is a Must for me. I cannot be there 24/7, but with enough notice, I can plan to; because this requires me to take my day off of work, Constant Supervision stays have a much higher charge (reach out to me for a quote!) During some of my past stays, I have encountered a few Pet Owner-derived safety and logistic issues that have lead me to issue this disclaimer to our potential clients. When booking a housesitting stay, what we ask of you is... - Please disclose ALL behavioral issues beforehand. I am super understanding and caring of differences in personalities and demeanors between animals, but it is important to be prepared for any and all "hiccups" that may arise. This includes incontinence, aggression, anxiety-driven destructiveness, aversion to certain clothing or behaviors (i.e., dogs who hate hats, dogs that react to quick movements, aggression towards certain noises, etc.), and so forth. If you are concerned your animal may have a behavioral issue, all I ask is that you TELL ME first. It does NOT disqualify you from my services! Its all about safety! :) - Please provide a clean home for me to be staying in, as I do face a health condition involving a weakened and vulnerable immune system. I'm extremely clean, as you can see in my reviews, and I would never, ever judge a person's home. I simply expect sanitary conditions and consideration comfort and safety. I'm sure you'd want the same! - Please notify me of security measures that are in place in the home. I'm so sorry, but I do not consent to being watched, nor am I okay with micromanagement. I have ended a booking over this before, as it feels massively unsafe for me as a sitter. Trust between the both of us is SO important to me here! This includes but is not limited to: Open Door alerts, Video Taping, Voice Recording, Sound Alarms, "Nanny-Cams", etc. I am a VERY careful, considerate house guest, but in case anything was to happen to your/our belongings in or around the home, I do need to know these things. It is also highly uncomfortable + suspicious to happen upon these items during the stay when they have not been disclosed... I care about my privacy just as much as I care about your pets! I am background-checked and reputable, and completely understand if you are hesitant to have a stranger in your home - but I must respectfully suggest that Rover may not be the best option for you, if so. I hope you understand! - Undisclosed aggression from an animal in the form of extreme physical harm (i.e., intensive bites that draw blood or scar) will result in a formal request to end the stay immediately, for health and safety reasonings (see mention of health condition(s) above). Thank you for your understanding! I am very flexible, and even throughout all this time, I have never encountered an animal of which I cannot handle :) I consider myself a true professional and always have the best interest of the Animal + Owner at hand!! Please let me know if youd like me to elaborate on any of these things! ***A hard topic to discuss: Rates and Haggling. My service rates are my rates for good reasons. I will respectfully decline your requests if you ask me to make "special exceptions" for you. **I'm very proud of the hard work I have done growing my Rover business! I commit to giving you & your animals the absolute best possible experience, and I truly care about the work I do here! The quote you are given is probably accurate based on the initial calculated estimate. Im happy to discuss why my rates are what they are, but please... respect my work, time and professionalism - please do not haggle. I do take Rover seriously (this isnt just a for-fun "side gig" for me). Keep in mind that I do run specials, sometimes! *If you find that I am out of your budget, I highly recommend looking a bit lower on the search engine to Rover Sitters who are just starting out! The ones with no reviews yet are the ones that are patiently waiting and hoping that someday they'll get a request... and it can be hard for them! I know this because many years ago, that was me. Their prices are generally very low so that they can get their feet on the ground, and I'll bet they would be ecstatic to hear from you.
