Pet care experience
I am currently working as a veterinary assistant in a general practice but I have also worked at an animal ER. I have had many sizes and personalities of dogs all my life. From small couch potatoes to large energetic bulldozers; itty bitty puppies to grandmas and grandpas. This has allowed me to assist many pups with potty training, basic commands, and more in depth training. With my previous work experience I have developed the skills needed to administer any type of medication a pup may need as well as allowing me to have CPR experience in case of emergencies. Adopting my pups from shelters, as well as working in Er and General Practice medicine, has provided the experience on how to incorporate new dogs into an existing family and how to help make each of them comfortable and outgoing in a short amount of time. It has also allowed development and training on how to socialize with people and other dogs properly.
Reviews
Alexandra is wonderful and we are so grateful to have her looking after our fur babies while we’re away ☺️
Alexandra was amazing! I was really hesitant to use Rover for an overnight stay because I don’t love the idea of a stranger staying the night in our home BUT Alexandra made me feel so comfortable right away. She was super accommodating and treated my boys so well! She sent tons of photos which put my mind at ease. 12/10 would recommend! Will absolutely request her again.
Alex was wonderful! We had to extend the stay by a night, she was flexible and accommodating of that. At the last minute, we had to add our outdoor kitties to her responsibilities, and she was quick to accommodate and remember last minute instructions. Her communication was top notch as well! Couldn't have asked for better service, will definitely book with her again!
Alexandra was great! She sent tons of pictures and treated my dog so well for his long weekend with her.

Information Alexandra A. would like to know about your pet
Things I would like to know: Is your puppy is house trained or bell trained? Any food or other allergies? Do they try to eat things off the floor or out of the garbage? Any food/toy aggression? (Just to be prepared.) Do they prefer to sleep in crate or loose at night? For longer stays, how often does your puppy need to be let out during the day? If they have any special medical/medication needs I would appreciate you letting me know what their medication schedule is or what special care they may need. Do they get along well with other dogs? I have no breed preference.
A typical day
We will take lots of pictures and send updates throughout the day! When pup-sitting we have a large fenced in backyard where my four pups love to play tag and fetch in. On milder days when it is not too hot out we go on walks around the neighborhood. On rainy days we play inside with a good game of tug o war or take a nap on our big couch. I can also help assist with any further training of your puppy for behavior or house training.

With my current job I am free weekends and Mondays along with every holiday. My husband is work from home full time. This lets us spend as much time as your pup needs to get exercise, cuddles, and have a great time!
