I have been an animal lover since childhood. When I was just 3, my family brought home our first dog, Koko, and we were the best of friends for every moment of his 18 long years. Koko slept at the foot of my bed, listened to my endless stories, was my playtime partner, and was always there to comfort me. He was the greatest companion a girl could ask for. A few years ago, my father and I also rescued a beautiful black cat named Buttons, and he is practically a dog in cat form! He loves to run around outside, eat grass, and chase bugs. We raised him from his kittenhood and now he’s a teenager with attitude! Sadly, however, since Koko’s passing and my departure from living with my father, I have greatly missed the joy and companionship that comes from spending time with animals—and that’s why I joined Rover. I have a true enthusiasm and love for animals and all their adorable quirks, and there is no exception to that rule! Big or small, cat or dog, I will treat your pet as I would my own—with nothing but love, affection, and treats!
