Alex had watched my dog several times when we were neighbors and was always happy to do so. My dog (funyuns) always looked forward to going over to Alex's and at times I think he preferred to stay there. He would always come back happier, cleaner and better fed than when I left him. Over time I didn't know who I should be more jealous of, Alex or Funyuns! See, I always had a thing for Alexandra but it never materialized. I started to pretend I was going away just so I had an excuse to go over to Alex's at the beginning and end of the weekend to drop off and retrieve Funyuns. I loved those Sunday nights when Funyuns would come home and still have many of the intoxicating scents he picked up from Alexandra's apartment. But like they say, "nothing gold can stay" and eventually Alex met someone and they ended up moving in together about 30 miles away. I still have to drag Funyuns away from her old apartment each time we walk by. Honestly, I find myself just standing outside her door from time to time as well. Nevertheless, I can give you my full endorsement that Alexandra will make a great dog sitter and wife. Maybe someday her, Funyuns and my new pup (Alix) can reunite and spend a weekend together while I'm away at Burning Man.
