Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Alex and I’m living in Southie. I minored in Pre-Veterinary Animal Science at URI and have a lot of experience with domestics and livestock. I'm a HUGE dog person and l have two of my own. They’re comfortable with pups being in an out, as we’ve fostered over a dozen over the past few years. I’ve worked with pets of all shapes/ sizes/ and special needs and I'll make sure to treat them as if they're my own. I also love being outside so hyperactive pups are not a problem.

Alexandra took excellent care of my two kitties! Not only did they get the basics covered perfectly (every day fresh food, water, litter scooped), but there was also plenty of cuddle time and play time. My cats are usually slow to trust new people (born feral) but warmed up to Alexandra very quickly! :) Daily pics and videos were a plus - always nice to see the kitties are having fun too while I’m away.

Both myself and my little ones are very active, so we’ll be sure to keep yours as occupied as possible. I’m super careful about leash handling and checking to make sure that all collars and leashes are properly adjusted. We don’t have a fenced in yard here, but we do have the beach just a block away.

I love dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. However, I do ask that you let me know of any of quirks ahead of time so I can make sure they’re as comfortable as possible. Do they have any specific fears that I should avoid? Also, the type of breed and whether or not they get along with other dogs is a must.
A typical day
Long walks through the park (or short, depending on your fur baby) I like to take my dogs to the beach once every morning and again after dinner. We usually avoid the dog park, but happy to bring your pup on a solo trip if that’s their thing.

Availability
I currently work from home Tuesdays, Thursday’s and Fridays so my schedule is most flexible then and on the weekends. I’m also able to make Monday and Wednesday mornings and evenings work, as well as afternoons local to the North station area.
