Pet care experience
I'm a very outdoorsy person who loves going hiking with my own plott hound, or just playing around the house with my 2 cats. I am lucky to have pets that are friendly and easy-going, and love adventure! I have grown up with dogs and cats, and have been caring for my own both for the past several years in both an apartment, and later our house. Copper would have plenty of fun joining any other friendly dogs on a walk or a hike in the Tucker area! I have attended obedience training schools, taken multiple courses on dog cognition and behavior, and am happy to maintain any behavioral routines that you have in place! I am happy to adjust to any schedule or habits that will help make your dog happy and feel comfortable while you are away.

Alex is great as always! He is the only one we trust with our pups, and we will always use him for when we need our pups watched after!

I offer drop-in visits on a customized schedule, depending on the needs of your pets. during these visits, I will pick up mail/packages and do a short walk-around to make sure everything is in order. I like to make sure any pets I look after have a clean, comfortable home while you are away, so if you provide supplies, I also clean up any indoor accidents. My goal is to make sure your pets have a comfortable, happy experience at home while you are away!

I would just like to know of any quirks. Is the dog territorial about food/toys/space? How do they typically react to new dogs or people? I basically like to get an idea of any adjustments I need to make to prevent your pup from getting scared or uncomfortable in their home when a new face comes by for a visit.
A typical day
For excitable or nervous dogs, I am happy to run/walk around the neighborhood, or go for midday hikes in nearby parks! My ever-friendly puppy gets along with large and small dogs and loves having a playmate. We often go to the local dog parks and have many friendly relationships with other dog owners, so there are always plenty of dog friends if yours likes to play!
