My legal name is Alexander, but I go by Sasha! Dogs have been a huge part of my life since before I was born. My family has always had at least one dog, although it's usually two in the house. My pet care responsibilities started when I was 8, when it was my job to make the evening mealtime happen. By 12 I was doing daily walks, and at 16 I was house and dog sitting for neighbors and family friends. I love giving baths to pups, even when they're not super into it. My wife and I adopted Reggie while we were living in Brooklyn, and we moved to Hastings shortly afterward to give him (and ourselves) more open space and access to nature.

Sasha and Hannah were amazing with my anxious boy! They made him super comfortable with trust building off the bat and then took him on an fun hike! I don’t think he wanted to leave them!
Alex & Hannah were so wonderful taking care of Shorty! They took care to keep him exercised, comfortable, and well taken care of! I would absolutely leave Shorty with them again and would recommend to anyone looking for a dog sitter.
Alexander is amazing. He is clearly a dog lover and treated Otis like family. Otis came back very happy and tired from all his fun walks and activities while there. I was also so happy to get so many pictures of Otis. I highly recommend Alexander.
Sasha and his lovely wife have a lovely home and were absolutely fantastic to my special needs dog. They are super personable and provided tons of photos/videos.

My wife and I have a fenced in backyard for quick bathroom breaks, and live a short walk away from the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail for longer walks. We recently lost our sweet pit mix Reggie to cancer, so our home is very dog-friendly with plenty of toys and treats (to be approved by their humans!) to go around. I've got a dog-friendly car as well, and am happy to travel a bit for a feed or a walk or an overnight or just about anything pup related. As long as you're okay with me kissing your dog, pretty much any arrangement can be worked out!

My wife and I work five minutes away from home so we have a ton of flexibility to take care of your dog(s)! We work different hours so your dog will never go more than a few hours without someone home.
