I'm Alexa, I am a recent Old Dominion University graduate that studied Conservation Leadership Biology. Growing up I have always been around dogs because my parents used to rescue stray dogs and owned two huskies while we lived in Alexandria before my brother was born and we moved to Texas. In high school I volunteered with A Forever Home and The Homeless Action and Response Team (two adoption agencies that would rescue dogs from unfit living conditions) and then later adopted my current dog Pebbles, a pug beagle mix from Hart, she lives with my parents up in Northern Virginia. I love walking, playing fetch and spending time with dogs because caring for animals is one of my passions and nothing makes me happier than a happy healthy animal.
