My sweet sixteen will forever be marked by the arrival of the first dog (of many) to grace my life, and the moment I knew what my life purpose was. Since then, I’ve fostered 6 dogs, training and caring for them so that they were able to be placed in good homes with friends and family. I’m a certified dog obedience trainer and am a fur mom to two wonderful pups––a handsome and playful Pitbull, and a lovable Pitsky mix. They are both super friendly and affectionate, and have been socialized from an early age. They love nothing more than being surrounded by other playmates, and I’ve always believed that more the merrier! My home is a real dog’s paradise filled with comfy beds and toys as well as a fenced yard for them to play or soak in some sun. I’m naturally a positive, happy-go-lucky kind of gal, and dogs just accentuate these qualities. I just enjoy the company of our furry friends no matter their age, breed, or temperament. Each pup brings their own unique energy, and I relish the process of getting to know their quirks and funny habits. In my many years of dog care experience, I’ve found that the more ‘aggressive’ dogs are usually suffering from fear or anxiety––not because of some character flaw. Dogs are by nature loving souls, so if they stray from that, it’s typically because of abuse or neglect by their humans. I want to create a safe, secure, and lively environment where your dogs feel completely at home. For me, it’s not about checking boxes off some list like a robot. I relish real bonding time with dogs, so whether it’s playing games with them or going on long hikes in the forest, I give them all of my attention and affection. It’s almost as if I’ve developed my own language when it comes to interacting with our furry friends. I’m a full-time dog sitter, so this is my life’s passion and purpose! This is not a responsibility I take lightly. My schedule is open and very flexible, and can be adapted to suit your needs. If there is a dog in my company, I don’t even see it in terms of your dog vs my dog. They instantly become a member of my family, and I’m a fierce protector of those I love. I am very active and find so much solace being outside in the fresh air with my fur babies. I enjoy adventuring as much as staying in––so whatever we end up doing, you can bet every minute will be devoted to bringing joy and laughter to every situation.
