Hi everyone! I've been an animal lover my whole life but have a special love for dogs. I have two of my own now who love other dogs, other people, napping in our bed, and frolicking in the yard. My new favorite movie is Secret Life of Pets, so that sums up my personality pretty well! At a party, you'll always see me talking to the dog. I joined Rover because I had some extra time and I couldn't think of any better way to spend it than with dogs. I am experienced with feeding, grooming, oral and topical medications. I have a lot of experience with puppies, as I have fostered through Rover Rescue. After doing extensive research in the area, I'm astonished at some of the kennels pricing systems. The closest kennel to my house charges 47$ for the bare minimum. You shouldn't have to pay extra for your dog to be played with, pet, or to sleep on a bed! They may as well charge extra for water! Here, your pup will receive the most personalized care and the freedom of choice- do I want to be inside? Outside? Alone? In bed? Watching blue planet? Cuddling? Your pup will never feel like he's being punished. You have some freedom too- I try to be very flexible with pick up and drop off times. Another benefit is that you can count on Chief and Dune being here to play, knowing they will also treat your pup like their best friend. I do require a meet and greet to assess everyone's behavior together, because just like people, no one loves everyone, and safety is a priority! You will get many pictures and videos of your dogs stay, if you'd like. My love of the outdoors has led me to a job as a Tree Care Technician after earning a Masters in Social Work. When I am out we check in on our own dogs though video surveillance and will do the same for yours. During the winter, usually after Thanksgiving through to March or April, I am only working part-time and have a four day weekend. I want your pups to feel most at home, so they are allowed to keep the same rules here-free reign of the house versus crating while alone, or freedom to be outside and/or in with Chief and Dune, playing ALL day long!
