I learned more than I ever thought I would about dogs when I raised my Great Pyrenees (who now lives a cushy life with my father, who fell madly in love with her). How much joy I got from taking care of her led me to work at a dog daycare and to join a group in college that focused on helping shelters and educating ourselves and each other's about canines. At the dog daycare, we would welcome more than 60 dogs a day on average, who all required different medical, dietary, energy, and social needs. As a result of all of my experiences, I am a go-to by many family and friends for dog walking and helping with dog training. I am new to the DC area and this is a great way to learn it better while I settle in!
