Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with a variety of animals from dogs, cats, horses, pigs, reptiles and birds to wolves and turkeys…I’ve cared for them all since I could walk. I used to be a vet tech. In the hospital I learn about dogs, cats and exotics such as birds and reptiles. I’ve managed large horse barns (50+ horses) in North Jersey and used to train German shepherd puppies for the Seeing Eye Inc in Morristown NJ. As much fun as it is playing with our fur friends, I take pride in making sure they are very healthy. I’m very good with special needs animals, medications and giving them great exercise and attention! I also make great homemade treats and give good belly rubs.

I find it better that animals stay comfortable in their own homes! However, if it’s easier after asking my housemates I can bring them to my house. I’m good at animal proofing and making sure they don’t get into anything and always make sure everything stays clean. Let’s face it, it’s really your pets home more than you’re own marked by their toys everywhere!

Let me know if your pet has special needs, medications or behaviors I should be aware of like anxiety, needs to be watched while fed or not good around other dogs. Also let me know all your dogs favorite things to do!
A typical day
If I am having a full dog date day I love to go up to Hartshorne! It’s great exercise and there are many trails to explore. I also check out Sandyhook and Henry Hudson trail. If your dog is high energy I might opt for a run or a good game of fetch. If it’s bad weather we might stay in and play inside.

I'm currently working 8-5 Monday-Friday and can accommodate anything after or before those hours. On weekends I’m usually free and can do about three long visits if preferred
