Hello there! I'm new to Rover but a seasoned Dog Mom and animal lover looking to take some new dog friends on fun walks! As a pet owner I know how important it is to be sure your dog is well cared for and having fun, which is why I take great pride in being the best caretaker I can be. I have raised dogs as puppies through well into their old age, even 16 years and older. As an owner I have experience with crate training, housebreaking, positive reinforcement training, and administering medication by mouth. My experience as a dog walker/caretaker began when I was a teenager walking a family of five dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. In addition to that I have house sat for families with multiple animals as well as dog walking for owners who are out of town. I'm very comfortable with large breeds and have the physical ability to safely handle large dogs. I try to live an active lifestyle and love to get a little jog in with the dog walk, or even a beautiful hike if the dogs owner is ok with it! As for scheduling, I work full time but am looking to pick up some dog walks or house sitting during my free time before and after work and weekends (Friday and Saturday). I can't wait to meet your dog and give them the love, compassion and fun that they deserve.
