Hey Rover viewers I’m Alexa! I just graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Temple University with a dual degree in Political Science and Journalism and would love to help take care of your pet! I have grown up with 3 dogs and 2 cats and am a lover of animals at heart. I am a volunteer for PAWS animals shelter in Old City, Philadelphia where I regularly walk dogs and help out with dog care around the shelter. I also regularly pet sit for my friends and family friends. I am looking to expand my services hosting animals at my house, dog walking, and conduct check ins. I live with two roommates who love animals just as much as I do and would help around, which makes me a perfect fit for your pet! My home has an open kitchen, living room, and backyard for your pets comfort. I keep keep the place very clean as well. I am open to all animals of any shape and size. I understand how much your pet means to you and I would provide your pet with love, attention, and a comforting home. Cannot thank you enough! A dog sitter we booked through Rover cancelled on us less than 24 hours before we were leaving for vacation. We were scrambling to make last minute plans and found Alexa on Rover. She agreed to watch our dog, Blue, for the week with less than a day's notice (and over a holiday weekend!). Alexa was great with our dog. She sent us pictures and messages throughout the stay, and we felt completely comfortable leaving Blue with her. Blue came home happy and well cared for. So grateful for the awesome care Alexa gave our dog.
Being that he's only a year and a half, Leon is still very high energy and in his puppy phase. However, Alexa was wonderful with him and able to handle his chaos. She also was great at handling my last minute booking, which was extremely helpful. She sent pictures and thorough updates, which put me at ease as an owner. I'm already looking to book her more times this fall, as I know Leon loved his stay with her and I felt comfortable with her.

This was my puppy's first ever stay away from home and needless to say, he had a hard time adjusting, but Alexa was great with him! I am so thankful for her and all the love/patience she gave Kip.
