My name is Alexa and I was born an animal lover. I’m a full time public school teacher, so this is my second job. I grew up with miniature schnauzers, but have experience caring for various breeds and sizes. I have five indoor rescue cats and two outdoor feral cats who I feed and have cared for for over 10 years. However, only one of my cats will come into direct contact with your pet as the others are extremely shy and will stay far away. My dog (pictured) passed away In 2015 at 14-years-old, but I felt it necessary to include his photos. I was his primary caretaker, and he was blind, diabetic, and was a cancer survivor. I feel comfortable caring for pets with special needs, young and old. My demeanor is relaxed and nonthreatening, so your pet will feel comfortable and relaxed with me. Animals are my passion and I am happiest around them, so I will be sure to treat your furry friend as one of my own. I am reliable, trustworthy, and will work with you to make the experience as easy as possible for your pet. I am free anytime on weekends and after work on weekdays (3:00 PM). My mother works from home, so your beloved cat or dog will never be left alone. I only board one dog or cat at a time, so your fur baby will have undisturbed walks and feedings, plus he or she won't have to compete for my attention! I genuinely enjoy taking care of dogs and cats, both in my home and in my clients' homes, and I can assure you that your pet and I will become fast friends!
