Pet care experience
I'm a big animal lover! I love to be active, so adventurous nature walks are a must! I'm patient through those seemingly endless games with toys, and I also enjoy giving a good belly rub. I have experience pet sitting both dogs and cats, and I love a variety of breeds. I own a 2 year old Goldendoodle named Finn and enjoy spending dedicated time to take care of him - whether it's long walks, dog park stops, bathing, grooming, feeding, and lots of playing.

Alexa is a terrific care giver for my dog, Nadya. She’s pleasant and caring towards Nadya, who is so happy to greet Alexa. Alexa is responsible - she’s timely and responsive. I don’t worry at all when I leave Nadya in her care.

Alexa clearly has a great report with dogs. She was naturally comfortable when meeting mine and from the many photos taken, they had a great time together. I would ask Alexa to care for my pets again in a heartbeat.
Alexa was awesome!! She was quick to respond to my initial request, met with us the next day, was super friendly and could tell she genuinely loved our dog. Then she was great during the visits. Even staying a little longer than the time limit. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had on here.

I believe it's important to let each pet know that there are behavior boundaries and limitations, and I ensure that those simple rules are followed so everyone can have a safe and fun time. I'm thorough in my work, making sure the house and animal(s) are kept safe and clean. I'm even willing to help train your pet by providing additional practice with basic commands. I follow any instructions you give to ensure your pet can maintain their normal routine and feel comfortable around me. I'm careful to maintain your house just as you prefer - any lights on, specific doors locked, feeding following your given schedule, and operating according to what you know is best for you and your pet.

The two most important things for me to know before working with your pet involve their behavior: what is their behavioral pattern when they are most comfortable, but also when they aren't with you. (Do they take advantage of new people? How do they respond to other dogs/people on the street? Do their eating patterns change? etc...)
A typical day
I always look for walks through forests or by nature, so you can be sure your dog will never be bored! Your pet and I can play fetch outside and spend time chewing on the toys indoors (er, the dog, that is...) You can also guarantee him/her a thorough belly rub and back scratch!

I work full-time at my primary job until 5pm Mon - Fri. I am available Friday afternoons & evenings, as well as any time Saturday and Sunday.
