Pet care experience
I have three years experience working at a doggie day care, boarding, and grooming facility where we teach basic commands and work with all different sizes and temperaments! I am confident in caring for all dog types wether it is a crazy pup or a senior pup who needs more care/ administered medicine. I absolutely love dogs, which is why I am always looking to work with them!

Alexa is the perfect choice to watch your beloved pet. First of all, she's always had a dog in her house and she helped raise 4 dogs and even a bunny. Also, she chose to work in a doggie daycare while studying in college (currently on summer break). So she has lots of experience. Second, Alexa is very sweet, gentle, caring and has a big heart. Your pet will love her the second they meet her and will be thrilled the next time they see her. She will always put their needs first. Alexa has always been an animal lover which is clear when you see her with one. Big or small, she loves them all!
Alexa took such good care of my dog while I was away! She sent frequent pictures and updated me everyday on how he was doing which helped ease my nerves of being away from him. I would highly recommend her and will be using her again in the future!
Alexa has been amazing! She’s watched my dog Alice regularly for the last 4 years due to me working so much. I was so excited to hear she started working for Rover as she has been such a delight to work with over the last few years with my own pup and has always made me feel safe having her care for her. Alexa will always put your pup first and you will never have to worry about your fur babies when you’re away. She’s worked at a local daycare for the last year as well so she knows dogs more then anyone I’ve met! I would highly recommend Alexa to care for anyone’s fur babies!

Before I start to care for your dog, it would be helpful to know any special needs your dog may have. If the dog is older, I would also want to know if I have to care for the dog in any specific ways. I would also want to know if I need to give your dog medicine or if there is any outgoing injuries that you know about.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs! Depending on the activities the dog is interested in, I can play fetch with them, tug of war, play with any of their favorite toys, or even just pet them. I take my dog to the cheesequake state park and we go for hikes together! If your dog is active enough for this, I am willing to take your dog too:). If your dog is very social, I can bring them to dog parks! Since I have experience working at a doggie day care, I know how to ensure that your dog will get along with all the other dogs at the dog park so there is no need to worry!

Over the summer, rover will be my only job! My schedule is pretty much free besides two weeks that I go on vacation. I can basically help you out whenever is needed!
