Since my family's dog's first puppy obedience class 16 years ago when I was a teenager, I have demonstrated an aptitude for communicating and working with dogs; I played a major role in training our dog, Maddy (see my photos for this gorgeous girl!). Thanks to Maddy, I am knowledgeable and skilled in positive reinforcement training methods and care for puppies through senior canine citizens. Since leaving home, I've cared for a number of dogs and made a few canine friends in my neighborhood. I find joy and peace in spending time with dogs, and am an expert at ear scratching, brushing and cuddling. I love going for long walks and playing with doggie puzzles or toys. For boarding and daycare, *please note* - 1. Your dog does not have to be crate-trained as long as he/she is house-trained and is not a hazard to him/herself or my apartment :-) (e.g. destructive). The exception is puppies - if you are a puppy parent, let's discuss! 2. Although there will not be any other dogs present in my apartment, my landlords and their Yorkie live upstairs and would like to meet your dog (to limit the Yorkie's barking when your dog and I enter/leave the house). Therefore, if your dog won't be comfortable with a brief introduction to a friendly Yorkie, this may not be the right house for daycare/boarding for them. :-)
