Greeting! My name is Alexa and I am a mom to two little stinkers. I have my a 5 year old wiener dog, Patch, and his younger brother, a Jack Russell, Frodo. However, I grew up with big dogs. I am the first to know that we all love our pets but that doesn’t mean we don’t have other responsibilities! I would love to help you make sure your fur baby is being well taken care at all times! Exercise is important, potty breaks are a necessity, and best of all, companionship for our companions! I would also like to note, that I do give baths, and can do some light grooming such as brushing fur, and brushing teeth (at no additional charge!) Entrusting your fur baby to a perfect stranger can be scary, and it is my job to make sure that you feel comfortable with me being around them, I look forward to hearing from you!

Alexa has been watching my rescue guy for a while now. She’s reliable, caring and he has taken quite the shine to her! I trust her implicitly when I’m out of town to take the very best care of my best friend! Not only does she take the time to make sure he’s fed, watered and has gone out, she’s spent nights with him and lets him watch tv and cuddle with her. She has been a great friend to my dog! I’m grateful to have her to help me out, and will continue to hire her to help us. :)

When it comes to staying in your home, I try to keep your pups on their regular schedule as much as possible. In my own home, my dogs have their own pen that they share and snuggle in and several large areas to run around. We enjoy playing and sharing tennis balls and were really big on Frisbees over here. My boys would love to try new toys with friends that are willing and are great at sharing their own toys.

Most importantly for me, is how they react to other dogs. I have a Black Lab, German Shepherd who is not overly dog friendly, so we don’t say hello on walks or anything. As well as what level of leash etiquette they have, just so I have a heads up on if I have a puller or not. If you have concerns over potty training or if your pup has any quirks, I like to get to know them as much as I can as they all have their own personalities.
A typical day
In the Rochester area there are some great parks, and I have no issues with transport, if you would prefer I take them outside of your neighborhood for example. I enjoy taking photos just to document your furry friend having a great time. If you have a dog that needs to run, we can run! I am also happy to assist with leash/ harness training for dogs that need it.

I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with and entertain those in my care. I try to keep them on a routine they are familiar with as changes to environment + schedule can be extra stressful on our furry friends.
