I am Alexa and I am a veterinarian here in Michigan! I have three dogs- the sweetest seven year old pit bull, a seven year old Labrador, and a three year old Labrador mix! My boyfriend is also a veterinarian, so we both typically work 8-10 hour days. We make it a priority to make sure our pets get ample attention and exercise. We love taking our dogs hiking, swimming, on walks and cuddling on the couch- when the weather is appropriate! We have a spacious house and large fenced backyard! I've had dogs all my life, but have a huge passion for shelter pets! We needed a dog sitter at the very very last minute for extenuating circumstances. Alexa was able to help us out immensely. She made our dogs feel like they were apart of her family. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter.
Alexa is an excellent dog walker. She responds to messages promptly, was very flexible and easy to work with, and noticed and passed along little details about my dog. Her own dog is clearly well cared for and loved. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again.
Alexa was so good with Tanto and sent us videos of him playing! She also extended when I was sick and was unable to travel for four more days!
Alexa took amazing care of Tulip during her entire stay. I appreciate how she kept me updated with daily pictures or messages to let me know how Tulip was doing :) The best pet sitter we’ve come across!
