Pet care experience
I grew up with 2 German Shepherds, and I now have my own 2 Lab mixes. I would like to adopt more dogs in the future so taking care of multiple dogs is a perfect start. I have experience with puppies and older dogs, ranging from small to large breed. Doggy daycare and boarding will include feeding 2-3 times a day, walking 1-2 times a day, and all the playtime needed in my fenced backyard. Drop in visits will include feeding, potty breaks and belly rubs. Walking will include a 30 min-1 hour walk/run around your neighborhood. Dogs will always have a special place in my heart, and I will take care of your fur baby, ensuring proper exercise and care 24/7!

My family and I were going to Kona for the weekend and found Alexa on Rover. We have two dogs, one 10lb dog that is not potty trained and one 38 lb dog who is high energy and fairly high maintenance. Alexa cared for them like they were her own. She was very responsive to messages and laid out her fee upfront so there were no surprises as to what I would be charged. She took photos of them and sent them to us, took them on multiple walks, and a two mile run! She even dealt with the little one pooping inside in the middle of the night, and the larger one waking her up in the early morning to go to the bathroom. I highly recommend Alexa, she is amazing!
Alexa watched our dog Max when we went on vacation last year . she made sure to send photos and videos almost daily. Max came home happy and healthy , how we had dropped him off . thank you alexa and I hope you can share your doggy love with others on the island !!
Alexa has a great passion and caring heart for dogs. She grew up with dogs and now has her own dog. She would be an awesome dog sitter, and she's definitely somewhat of a helicopter mom to her puppy right now so other dogs will never be out of her sight!!

I unfortunately do not have my own home here, so I am unable to provide doggy daycare or boarding. However, with house sitting and drop-in visits, I will make sure to give your pet potty breaks, play out in the yard or in the living room, and feed them accordingly/give medications/etc!

Please let me know if your dog has any allergies or oral medication that needs to be taken. How often does your dog eat and do they take anything with their food?
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally, and I'll treat them how I treat my own. I have many balls, bones and toys for them to play with and we will go on a walk around my neighborhood if it's not snowing!

Availability
I work a regular 9-5 weekday job. For dog walks, I can come early morning (6-7am) or on the weekends anytime. For drop-in visits, I can stop by before/after work or during my lunch hour. As for house-sitting, I am available every night :)
