Hi there! My name is Alexa and I absolutely love dogs (and all animals for that matter). I have had dogs and many other pets in my family since I was a child. Growing up I have had a calm and loving mutt named Shack and a feisty yet sweet shih tzu terrier named Goldie. My roommate who I lived with for three years in college also had a Pitt bull mix named Benny who I also helped take care of and I’ve had several dog sitting jobs over the past 6 years. I’m from Louisville, KY and moved to Nashville about 3 years ago and have been saving up to get my own pup one day! I’m excited to start working for Rover to care for more pets before I can eventually have my own.

Alexa is great!! She’s definitely a dog lover. I have two Samoyeds that have a lot of energy and demand constant exercise, and she never struggled to keep up with them. She was patient and handled them well. I would trust my dogs to her anytime.
I have known Alexa for over 10 years and I have seen how loving and caring she is towards animals. She treated her lifelong pet, Goldie, like a queen and is always excited to meet a new furry friend. My family trusted her to watch our dog, Reba, and we were greatly pleased with how well she took care of her. Reba usually becomes depressed when we go out of town, but now she is excited to see Alexa. Alexa is responsible and trustworthy. You can count on her to treat your pup like her own.
Alexa is one of the most dependable people I know. She is so responsible, kind and considerate. Not only is she an incredibly hard worker, she takes the time to make sure her work is accurate. I've worked with her in numerous settings and am always impressed by her professionalism given any circumstance. She loves animals so I know this position would be perfect for her. You can always trust her which I feel is so important in this job, you're giving your pet to a stranger and I can think of no one better I'd trust with my pet.
I recommend Alexa as a dog caregiver because she has grown up with pets and knows how to take amazing care of them. She is the most caring person I know and also very reliable. She loves animals and is the first person I would ask to look after my pets. Ultimately, Alexa is hardworking, dependable, and caring and is perfect for the job.
