Reviews
Great sitter so grateful for her!
I felt at ease leaving my dogs with Alexa as my very first dog sitter while we were on vacation! So much more personal than boarding. I will book with her again when we go on another trip!
Absolutely thrilled with Alexa's pet-sitting! She's a star—kept my pup super happy and sent updates that really put my mind at ease while I was on vacation. It's like my furry friend had their own little vacay! Big thanks again Alexa!
Alexa is a Great sitter I highly recommend her! ☺️

I have a large yard with a large enclosure for exercise. I live in a quieter community with sidewalks. Permanent dog residents include a Shihtzu who is very welcoming to new friends and an English Mastiff who is warm and sweet to animals. We try to keep the atmosphere calm when a new doggie friend is arriving, so I ask that owners do not knock or ring the doorbell when arriving… my EM does not know he is huge and will get excited which can be a bit dramatic. All feed times are closely monitored and dogs that are grazers will have multiple opportunities to eat. Dogs sleep where they feel comfortable, bring a bed at your own risk, I try my best but things happen! Our crates have beds or blankets (let me know if your dog is a nervous chewer and I will remove the bedding). Kennels are to ensure that your animal is safe while we are gone (because they can get anxious being in an unfamiliar environment, ingest things, scratch things, fight other dogs etc.) and that even goes for my own dogs. Overall, your pet will be treated as one of our own and will be a part of the gang for his/her stay. If anything listed here is a problem for your pet, let’s discuss it and change things accordingly.

Information Alexa G. would like to know about your pet
Please bring your dog’s leash, food and bowls so that they recognize some things from their routine at home. I will need to know where they sleep at home, if they run away when off-leash, and how they indicate that they need to use the bathroom. If your dog is known for marking, please let me know so we can accommodate them accordingly with belly wraps.
A typical day
We have nylon bones and a bucket of toys, only left out when adults are available to monitor. Toys can be a big point of contention between a pack of new dogs and we want to ensure safety. Personal toys from home can be too much for stressed out dogs, so I may not allow dogs to have those during play time and only put them in their crates for comfort. I can usually get a feel for the personalities we have in the house to make that decision. I have a tie out for dogs that prefer some lounging in the sun and an indoor fire place that most dogs appreciate on colder days. Dogs enjoy a lot of play time since we bring them into the family for the week. If we aren’t away, the dogs are at play!

I work full-time for a local school district with a predictable schedule, allowing me to plan accordingly. Over holiday breaks I will be home. My commute is about 15 minutes, so time with dogs around my work schedule is maximized.
