Pet care experience
I have had cats for my entire life and had the pleasure of playing with and watching my family’s dogs and cats when they are out of town. I have a puppy (7 mos.) and training her has become my passion.

Alexa is dedicated to treating all animals with love and respect. She is incredibly patient and empathetic. She has taken a great deal of initiative with learning gentle training and pet parenting techniques. She is a trustworthy person who would treat any animal as her own.
Alexa has been watching my dog Boo since she was a puppy and she has always done an amazing job. She is extremely reliable, and her love for dogs is very clear. My dog has behavior issues and she did a great job adapting and now she is one of the few people I can trust to watch her. She is my go too when I go out of town!
Alexa is very passionate when it comes to animals. She loves all animals and is great at training them and giving them all the love and attention they need. I think with her background in nursing her compassion for her patients also shows through her pets. Ever since she was a little girl she has always had a special way with animals in the ways she treats them all as her own. Being a caregiver already, Alexa would prove to be a great fit at Rover. She has a very big heart too

I give my pets a very regimented diet and my kitty has medical needs, including use of a medical device, so I take a lot of care to appreciate their feelings and also maintain my responsibilities. I would of course grant that respect to your pets as well.

A typical day
I prioritize PLAY with my dog and would love to have the same for your pup as well. I will tailor our walking experiences to what you would like for your dog to do and see, but I am partial to some green grass sniffaris.

Availability
I work full time (8-4:30) in Albany, but I used to work overnight shifts at the hospital. I am happy to walk or check in on your pups in the evening if you have a date night or work off hours.
