Pet care experience
I graduated from Medaille College with a Bachelor’s in Biology with Pre-Veterinary Requisites. Lover of all animals, especially dogs and cats of all ages! I have years of experience of pet care from watching my own dogs and cat, sitting family’s/friend’s animals and also coworker’s animals. I’m a great multitasker and can react fast under pressure or in tough situations. I’m always willing to go above and beyond for animals no matter the case. I also have behavior collar experience for different needs. Building a friendly trusting bond with both the animals and the owners is an important factor in this business, and I look forward to meeting new people and playing with their animals! I am a very organized person and like to be on time. Also, I’m understanding if people are running late or if something comes up and cancellation is necessary. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet(s), & take care of your loved pets when you’re busy or away!

I personally have hired Alexa to sit for my German Shepard along with my sons Alaskan Malamute. When planning a vacation, she is the 1st person I call ; knowing my dogs will be well cared for. After meet and greets, I like to do a walk around tour of the house and yard that I offer my services to. I do this to ensure I understand the property layout and ensure safety for the animals I care for and myself. For exercise services and potty breaks at home yards, I make it a priority to make sure gate locks work properly (if applicable) and there are no holes in the fences to monitor closely when having outside time with your pet(s). When on walks, I will always double check the harness/collar/leash are all secure and safe for your pet. During walks I will offer treats and water to your pet when they need a rest break. I will also leave my contact information with the owner(s), that way I will always be reachable while caring for your pet.

A typical day
Any pet(s) I care for will be stimulated in play either mentally, physically or both! I have food games that I use for my pet’s mental stimulation that I could bring over to use with your pet(s). I will make sure we play fetch in the yard and get the exercise needed for your breed! We can go on walks around the neighborhood to smell all the favorite smells enjoyed by your pet(s). If it’s a nice day maybe we can get wet and play in a doggy pool or with the hose outside! I can also provide safe car rides to get a pupcup from Starbucks or take a nice walk to get some ice cream on those warm summer days!

Currently I am working part time and have a flexible schedule to meet your pet care needs. I have a dog and cat of my own that I take care of daily. Once their early morning routines are complete, I am free to help others with their pet routines and care!
