I LOVE dogs. I have two dogs I have raised from puppies, who are now 4 and 3 respectively. I have trained both using positive reinforcement and clicker training. It;s a work in progress but I really like teaching them fun tricks, as well as good manners. I also really love other peoples dogs. I take any chance I get to pet-sit for family members and friends. I enjoy learning about difference characteristics of dog breeds ( I even got DNA test for my pound pups!), and new research regarding dogs and their behavior. I spend most of my free time playing, cuddling, and napping with my dogs. I am a law student at ASU just looking to earn some extra money during the year. I love all animals and thought this would be a great opportunity to do something I love. I love to be active, I spend time in the gym, as well as doing outdoor activities when the weather is nice.

Alexa was great with Bella and Kylo from the moment she met them. I loved getting the pictures and seeing their happy puppy faces! I will definately request Alexa anytime we go out of town and i would reccommend this service and Alexa to anyone that needs a sitter!!

Alexa is an incredibly smart, thoughtful, and trustworthy person. During an extended weekend vacation, she cared for our three dogs as if they were her own. I trust Alexa DuMity implicitly. I have trusted her to watch over my most valued possessions -- my companion animals -- when I have left town. She has taken one to the vet for an innoculation (and the animal, usually incredibly skittish at such excursios, was the perfect little lady on a trip that is usually most traumatic). Alexa is not only extremely trustworthy (where my pets are concerned AND where my possessions are concerned), she is also incredibly smart , insightful and observant--all great characteristics in a pet caregiver. She is my first-choice for pet-sitter.

Dog's choice! No, but seriously I can follow whatever itinerary your dog is accustomed to, or do something totally new! Walks around the neighborhood? Of course! Just some cuddle-time at home? Definitely. Throwing the ball in the yard? Absolutely. I am happy to work on basic commands with positive training rewards such as sitting and walking nice on a leash. I can also give medicine if necessary. I definitely get attached to the animals I watch, and I will treat your pups as if they were my own. I love sending pictures and updates of time spent with your dog(s), so you can stay in the loop.
