Pet care experience
I’m an animal lover and dog enthusiast with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Besides caring for dogs throughout my life, I’m also a volunteer foster with Muddy Paws Rescue (since 2021). I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and other personality quirks. At home, I have a resident Chihuahua named Xina who loves to play fetch and go on long walks. Playtime, treats, snuggles and tons of love are just a few of what your dog can expect in my care!

Alexa took great care of our dog. She always sent us photos and videos of the walks. She is super reliable and trustworthy. Communicating with Alexa was always easy, she responds promptly and overall it was a great experience hiring her as a dog walker.
Alexa took amazing care of my dog, Tuna! She was super responsive and provided lots of updates/photos. Great communicator and clearly a super responsible pet owner/sitter. Alexa is a LIFE SAVER, she is wonderful with our girl Willow. Willow is a rescue and a very good girl, but has some quirks and I feel so comfortable with Alexa walking her-she's confident and very present with the pups, and has a lot of canine experience. Cannot recommend her services enough.

I only walk one dog at a time so all of the attention will be on your pet. I always do safety checks on harnesses, collars and leashes before leaving the house and do not allow on-leash meets as they can cause too much tension. For boarding clients, I crate my dog and expect your dog to be crated as well when I leave the house. Doggie playtime with my resident dog is always supervised. Both your dog and my dog will be walked together unless otherwise specified.

It will be helpful to know any routines, favorite snacks, toys, allergies or any medications your dog is currently on. For in-home boarding, my preference is for dogs smaller than 40 lbs as my dog can get a little scared of dogs that are much bigger than her at times. Since your dog will be cohabitating with another dog, it will be important that he/she gets along with other dogs.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog mentally and physically. They’ll have lots of toys to play with and can expect long walks to burn off energy.

Availability
I’m currently in-between jobs at the moment so much of my time is dedicated to caring for your pet. I live close to Fort Greene park and like to walk at least 3 miles per day.
