I am on the board of a 501c3 rescue and have worked with hundreds of animals. I am experienced housing, training, and walking dogs of all sizes. I also have extensive experience medicating animals and have a bachelors degree in biology, which underpins my understanding of animal health. An important aspect of rescue is training and rehabilitating the animals - I believe in only using positive reinforcement only (R+) training methods and will never harm your dog by “correcting” behavior. I have lots of experience walking large dogs with no leash manners, and am very confident in my ability to to keep myself and the animals safe. Many of the animals I have had under my care are very young, very old, or have a serious health problem. I am comfortable with complicated medicine schedules, giving injections, and cleaning up after incontinent pets.
