My name is Alexa, I am 31 years old and I have loved dogs ever since I can remember! I moved to DC 6 years ago. I currently have a 3 year old chocolate lab named Rio and have a deep love for all dogs, big and small. The main reason I'm joining Rover is because I simply love spending time with dogs. I grew up dog sitting for several neighbors dogs, including German shepards, golden retrievers, Great Danes, and boxer puppies, and also grew up with 2 cats. I will give your dog plenty of attention, walks, and play time and promise to give him or her a great place to stay while you are away! I am loyal, friendly, dedicated, and timely. I take my job seriously. I am also a nurse and I love my job caring for patients. I am looking to dog sit and dog walk during my free time :)

Alexa was so accommodating with a last minute request because our sitter fell through. We loved that She kept us updated throughout the evening with pictures and videos! She was super responsive and great with Wellie! We had a great Rover experience
Alexa was responsive and reliable. She took Winston on a nice long walk, followed my instructions without issue, and sent cute pics. Will definitely hire her again!
Alexa was wonderful with my dog Charlie! She was able to fill in last minute when another sitter cancelled on me was was very accommodating to my travel schedule. I'd leave my pup with her again any day!
Alexa is very responsible and reliable. She is respectful and kind towards others. She was the first person who I called to watch my two dogs and cat while I was out of town. I trust her with my home and my animals because I have known her my whole life and knew I could count on her.

I love to take dogs on walks in my neighborhood so they can smell lots of new smells and get a good workout in too at the same time. There are also several trails nearby.
