I have been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had family cats, so my cat care experience is extensive. My husband and I rescued our dog Tucker in 2016 and he is the light of our life. Before graduating college, I worked at Camp Bow Wow for 5 consecutive summers as well as Wagsworth Manor (Malvern, PA) for a year, both a boarding/day care facility. At both locations, I worked with many different types of breeds, temperaments, personalities, etc. I am a trustworthy, patient, caring, and hard working young professional who is willing to go above and beyond to love and care for your pet! I have experience with: dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, rats, and hermit crabs. I appreciate you considering me for your pet sitting needs!

Alexa is a wonderful sitter and wouldn’t heists to recommend, I am a repeat rebooker ! He is not special needs but has a specific diet. The detailed rover card and multiple pictures were much appreciated. I have not used for an overnight stay but if I needed this option would also book. She had all the qualities in a great sitter/companion; promptness, attention to detail and responsiveness in communication. I felt very secure and comfortable with her as a sitter.
Alexa is the perfect pet parent - her dog Tucker is the most loved, spoiled and pampered pet I know. But her love of animals goes much deeper. She grew up with cats who she took loving care of, and played with them always. Her pet Hamster had a mini palace to live in, a bowl to roll in and dined on the finest foods! Her love of pets took her into a job at a doggy day care and she was in doggy heaven everyday. She is highly responsible in the feeding, grooming and care of pets, as well making them feel comfortable with her, during short or long absences from owners, giving them the attention to make them feel loved and content.

I will always ensure that your pet’s harness / leash is firmly secure before starting our walks. Additionally, I will only be focused on your pet at the time of my visit and restrict time on my phone to only take cute pictures of your furry loved one! For kitty care, I always like to open the door down on my knees just in case they want to scurry by. For both dog and cat care, before I leave, I like to make sure your pet is situated comfortably away from the door so I can exit knowing they have not gotten past me.

Some things I would like to know ahead of time: -Does your pet have any health related issues that I should be aware of? Dietary restrictions, medicine, etc -Does your dog get along with other animals? Does he/she get overly excited, defensive, or aggressive? (My pup is defensive & aggressive so I understand these types of behaviors and the triggers!) -Does your animal like to stick to a certain feeding/walking schedule? -What can I do to make the stay as easy and pleasant as possible for you and your pet?
A typical day
With the numerous amount of walking trails in area, I would love to take your pup on a long stroll on the trails! I also know of a few dog parks in the area if you would prefer to dog to have interaction with others. If you think your dog would enjoy their own backyard, I would be more than happy to toss their favorite toy with them in the comfort of their own yard.
