Pet care experience
I am an animal lover and outdoorsy type of girl. With 7 years of experience watching pets and children, you can trust me in your space with your beloved pet. As an Oakland resident, I understand how important it is to get our dogs some fresh air and exercise! I really enjoy taking dogs on long hikes in the state parks or training them in basic walking etiquette. Ive taken whole packs of dogs to the dog parks and it's always a blast! I also have some experience working with puppies and training them basic commands. I can provide references if you'd like to learn more about me and my training style with dogs. Alexa agreed to take Timber on short notice when another Rover sitter backed out at the last minute. Her affection for animals was apparent from the beginning. She spoiled Timber during her stay, kept her active and safe. She’s our go-to from now on. Thanks, Alexa!
Alexa was amazing with Bax! I was a little nervous at first because we had never used Rover before but Alexa was patient and listened to us explain what Bax needed. And throughout his stay she sent countless pictures of him. I really appreciated all the walks she took him on and he had a blast with her!

Alexa is super reliable! And she's great with the dogs - I was nervous to let my two pups out with a stranger, but they took to her instantly and they've been so much happier and healthier since she started walking them. One of my dogs has a stomach condition that can cause digestive problems, but I explained to her what his dietary restrictions involve and how to calm him if he gets sick, and she's done a great job working with him and helping him get the attention he needs despite his health issue. We're so happy to have somebody we can trust to take him and his sister out while we're at work!
