Pet care experience
My name is Alexa and I live in an apartment in Greenville, with a dog park located 100 feet out my back door. I am in medical school and am usually home studying and playing with the pups every night. I have two dogs, Melody and Maxx. Melody is sweet and cuddly, loves playing tug-of-war and wrestling with any kind of dog. Maxx is blind but super sweet once he is able to sniff out the new dogs. After the initial meeting, he usually just passes out on the floor or under my bed until I call him for dinner or a walk. When I go to school during the day, Melody and Maxx just hang out at home, with the run of the house. I am very active and take Melody and Maxx on runs and hikes at least 4x a week.

Alexa was a very dedicated and creative brother. Long before the Ice Bucket Challenge our organization was involved in fundraising efforts for ALS research and victim support. Alexa developed a plan to raise funds and followed her fundraising project till its end. Her contribution made it possible for us to donate thousands to the ALS fund. Alexa has proven her ingenuity, kindness, and tenacity. She is extremely trust worthy and hard working. In the time I've known Alexa I've only known her to be someone worth trusting. I take my dog on morning walks/runs to wake myself up and let her expend some energy before I leave for work. When I get home, we play in the back yard, eat dinner and then relax, playing tug-of-war or fetch throughout the evening. My dog sleeps in my room, but has the freedom of sleeping and playing anywhere in the house. Our house is open and bright--the main level has hard wood floors that my dog enjoys during the summer and the upper level has carpet.
