Pet care experience
Since I was in middle school, I was chosen as the neighborhood petsitter due to my responsible nature and love for animals. To be trusted with the care of a loved pet is the most honorable position I can think of and one that I hope to continue here in New Mexico. To keep an animal happy when their owner is away is something I pride myself in. I also have experience in dosing medicine for multiple types of animals.

Alex did a great job watching our home and taking care of our senior dog, Stanley. The house was clean, we received photos with updates regularly and more importantly, Stanley was relaxed, happy and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone else looking for a sitter!

We needed a sitter we could trust for our 2 pups ( 15y/o and 3y/o) and reached out to Alex based on reviews. She was fantastic, on our 7 day trip we didn’t have to worry about our pups once. Perfect amount of communication (for us), exercise (for dogs), and house was in perfect shape on return. We really hope to use her again because I’m sure our pups miss her already! Thanks Alex!
Alex helped me out last minute to be able to stay with my puppy while I was working long hours. We did a meet and greet before and she was very sweet and playful with my pup. Not only did she take good care of May, she also stayed even later than she had to to ensure that my pup was well taken care of before I was able to get back home. Highly recommend! I am adaptable in a multitude of ways, including the needs of the animal I will be caretaking in their place of comfort instead of a new environment. It's always helpful for both me and your fur baby to know if there are limitations physically or medicines that will be needed throughout my stay. Helpful items around the house, such as cleaning supplies and favorite toy and play spots, as well as preferred vet information in case of an emergency.
A typical day
I love going hiking and exploring new places near my neighborhood or yours! I'm a very active person and your dog will always accompany me (to safe places) and find new adventures daily.

Availability
I'm a graduate student and TA at NMSU with flexible class schedules where I would be able to attend to the daily needs of the client's pets. Because I don't work outside of the University, there would seldom be a time that I would be unavailable for pet care needs.
