Hello, my name is Alex and my husband's name is Bill. We live on Whidbey Island for about 6 years now. We absolutely love it here! We've been on Rover.com for a couple years now and after lots of traveling and renting in the past, were very much looking forward to bringing pets back into our lives! We do not currently have our own pet, but will again sometime in the future. We both grew up with cats, dogs and other animals around all our life. Both my husband and I love animals and would love to help care for yours, while you take care of your daily responsibilities. I (Alex) work from home every day, which makes it easy to keep an eye on everyone, go for walks, play etc. We love being outside for walks and little hikes and would enjoy bringing your puppy along. (or care for him or her closer to home if some nature walks aren't a favorite :) We also have quite a large front yard. While not fenced (we're looking into that for the future) it's great outdoor space for your dog to play and run around. (We'd make sure it's secure of course). We know ourselves in having no family around how hard it can be to trust a stranger with the care of your pets or kids. We'd be happy to keep you updated how your pup is doing throughout the day! Text, email, pics, calls whatever you prefer! My husband is unfortunately allergic to cat hair, so we can't board cats. Your pups would have to be comfortable around kids! We have an almost 4 year old little boy and are about to welcome a second child. We want our little ones to grow up around animals just like we did and are very excited to share this experience with our kids.
