Pet care experience
Every day, I catch myself saying “I love dogs.” They’re my favorite animal in the world and I’ve had two years of professional full time experience leash walking, sitting, and boarding dogs of all shapes and sizes, including those with special needs and behavioral issues. As an off-leash dog walker, I’m an expert on dog behavior and basic training techniques. I spend Mondays-Fridays hiking with dogs from 9-4, so I am free evenings and weekends to hang out, take your dog to the park, or give your dog a potty break. I can provide sitting and boarding services Friday evening through Sunday. I am working for Rover as a part-time freelance dog walker, but my experience has been guided by other dog experts who own small pet care businesses. I have an unfenced yard, but I live in a beautiful and walkable neighborhood. The green way is just steps away, so I can take your dog on longer leashed walks as well.

I would prefer well-trained dogs who could behave well when left alone for a few (about 3-4 but never more than 5) hours. I can be flexible with a dog that is crate trained as well.
A typical day
Almost anywhere! I love taking dogs on outdoor adventures to local parks and trails. If your dog is well-behaved around people, children, and other dogs, I may take them out with me to dog friendly businesses or events if possible! Or, if your dog is more laid back, I’m all for curling up on the couch with Netflix or a good book and snuggling!

Availability
I currently work four days a week; Monday’s from 7:30am-7:30pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30am- 6pm. I am completely available on Thursdays and weekends. During my working days, I have an hour long lunch that I can use to walk or feed the dogs if needed.
