Hello! I’m Alex, and I have been raised around dogs my whole life. I'm known to be a friend to any dog through patience and kindness. I have cared for dogs who come from different of backgrounds, including puppy to adults, elders, and rescue dogs. I grew up with my best friend Bubbles, providing her a life full of happiness, plenty of rubs and playtime, and understanding things get harder with age. Over the years, my family and I have worked with multiple strays, reuniting them with their original owners or finding them their forever homes. During high school, I was the go-to pet, house, and child-caregiver within my community. During my college years, I worked with and adopted a shelter dog, Daisy, who suffered from mistreatment caused by her previous owner. Through the love and affection we have shown her, she was able to learn to trust people again. Daisy now works with my grandma, reminding her to wake up to take her antidepressants while living like a queen with plenty of space to run in the country. I also have care experience with rodents, particularly hamsters.
