I only accept dogs that have had a meet and greet for the safety of your dogs and mine.This allows me to ensure that you pet will feel safe entering a new space and that you have confidence in knowing I am the right sitter for you. All kinds of animals have been drawn to me my whole life. I can't imagine my life without dogs. They contribute so much to my life. I have cared for puppies, seniors and even special needs. I am home 24/7 ensuring your babies will have plenty of company and snuggle time. My fur babies are my family and while yours stay with us they will be too. My home is as much for their comfort as it is mine. Some boarders will kennel dogs during their stay. The only time I kennel a dog is for a short period while I do a meet and greet. I do separate dogs during meals My home is double gated to assure no pups slip out. I have a series of child gates in my house and kennels to separate during feeding. I have been doing Rover sitting for 2 years. How did I get so lucky to do something that brings me such joy? This experience has not only built my dogs' confidence but has also allowed me to hone my skills in dog care and training.

I’ve been leaving my fur baby with Alex for 2 years. I totally trust her with my Bella. She’s so great at communicating and sending pictures through out the day. She has the best personality and always does everything to make Bella comfortable. I wouldn’t trust Bella to any one else.
Alex is the absolute best! I have never left my dog, or past dogs, with anyone but family or close friends. Finding Alex was exactly what I hoped for. We did a meet and greet first and that went well. Then we scheduled her first sleepover and that went even better. I had photos sent during my entire absence and the communication was only when there was a legitimate question or concern. She treated her like her own pet and even offered some suggestions that were helpful. Her next stay is in a month and I am confident she’ll be well cared for and will have some other furry friends to play with!
We couldn't be happier with Alex as Bruce's dog sitter! We've left Bruce with her twice now, and both times she has made being away a breeze for us. Bruce always has the best time with her, and it's clear she's giving him all the love and attention he deserves. Her adorable picture updates make us feel like Bruce is on his own little vacation! Alex did a wonderful job watching Beaker. We were worried about him being around so many other dogs but she worked to assimilate him into the pack and make him feel comfortable. He had a great time and played well with his new friends! We will be booking with her again next time we are out of town!

I have 2 fur babies to keep your dog company. My yard is securely fenced. (I am double gated) I am skilled at giving medications if needed. I will be delighted to treat your dear ones with adoration and love that I have for my own. My home is 4 miles from a 24-hour emergency vet. I will watch multiple dogs from different families only if I know the dogs well. I will also care for multiple dogs from the same family. My settings show dogs up to 40 pounds. If your larger dog is really gentle and chill feel free to reach out.

Please tell me about your dogs diet & schedule. Any medications. Do they sleep in their own bed or with their human or crate trained? I always request an extra day of food because flight cancellations, traffic jams and other stuff can happen. If you bring dog toys I can't guarantee they will be returned in the same condition. I have plenty of toys.
A typical day
I have a very energetic 6 pound, 4 year old Chihuahua that hopes your dog will play with her. I also have 16 year old, 12 pound Chiweenie who sometimes plays. Dogs are allowed on furniture and in bed here and my pups and I look forward to snuggle time. My home is double gated to safeguard "door dashers". My backyard is secure and I allow access to it any time. Plenty of time to frolic and play. I make sure that no one gets overheated playing to hard.

I am retired and am home nearly 24/7. Plenty of time to snuggle and play. I so enjoy having Rover guests. My dogs are used to having a variety of dogs come and go.
