Pet care experience: I've owned a dog for almost my entire life! I have experience walking, feeding, and caring for them, from puppies to older dogs. I have done overnight stays to care for houses and dogs. I also have experience caring for foster kittens with Austin Animal Center, so I know how to provide that extra special care and attention animals need! Availability: I am working remotely this summer so I have a flexible schedule. A little bit about me: I graduated from UT-Austin with a degree in journalism and am currently teaching English in Spain. I can't wait to be back home in Houston for the summer—there's nothing quite like a Texas summer! I love being active and outdoors so I can take your dog to the park, on a run or long walk. I am clean, responsible, and caring—I can't wait to meet your pup!

Alex is super friendly, reliable, and comfortable and experienced with dogs having grown up with dogs in her household. She has cared for our large and playful goldendoodle several times, and has a natural approach with him, treating him as her own. We trust her in our home and outside of our home, as she’s willingly taken him on errands and to Zilker Park. Our pup gets excited to see her which you know is a good sign!
