Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Alex, I'm a first year medical student at the University of Cincinnati. During my time in undergrad, I was a volunteer trainer for 4 Paws for Ability, a non-profit that places service dogs with children in need. Over the past 4 years I have worked with a multitude of dogs, teaching them commands, introducing them to new experiences, and cleaning up a lot of poop. 4 Paws has taught me many things about how to train a well behaved dog, as well as how to deal with random emergencies that may come up. I can walk a dog for hours at a time, and love to take dogs to a variety of places. As I am a student I am busy most days during the day, but I could stop in for a few minutes to check on a pup and sit overnight. I look forward to loving your dog!

Alex was so great with Wilbur while I was gone for a long weekend. My dog is deaf, strong, stubborn, but really sweet and Alex and him seemed to have a great time, taking Wilbur on lots of walks etc. He very kindly kept me updated with pictures and messages about what they were up to so I felt completely at ease that he was in good hands. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

Alex was amazing. We have a senior dog that requires a lot of assistance he was very attentive to Remy's needs. The house was spotless upon our return. Alex sent many pictures while we were away to let us know how things were going. The line of communication was wonderful. He was also very flexible when we suddenly had friends that needed to stay at our place in the middle of it all. Thanks Alex, we will definitely be using you again.
Alex is AMAZING with dogs!! He is a natural and works extremely well with all dogs, no matter the shape or size. I have worked with him for the organization 4 Paws for Ability and have witnessed his kind nature with both people and animals.
