When I was born, I was introduced to my first best friend, my beautiful golden retriever named Wolfie. We would play together, sleep together, and whenever I cried, he would cry too. Shortly after, we adopted a second golden retriever named Susie, who also became one of my childhood pets. I grew up in Tennessee, in a house with a big yard and a lake right behind it that was perfect for dogs. I loved taking my dogs swimming, walking them, playing fetch in the backyard and showering them with treats and toys. When I was about seven years old, my teacher in school asked me if I had any brothers or sisters, at the time I didn't, so I answered, "Yes! My dog Wolfie is my brother and Susie is my sister!" We'd take trips to the beach with them, as well as bring them on every other trip we took! We three grew up together and they brought me such joy and a feeling of companionship all the way into my adult life. This is why I would love to be a dog (or any animal) walker, sitter or just a play mate for them. I am now a sophomore in college and cannot own a dog of my own and I truly miss being able to love and play with happy, silly dogs! I do own a cat currently who I love very much though! I would like to work part time, and I cannot bring dogs into my own apartment building. I have a special place in my heart for all animals after growing up with them so intertwined into my life. I'm responsible, loving and will make sure your pet is handled with the best care I can provide! My care springs from the young girl (and current girl) whose first ever friends were animals.
