We purchased our first home together in December of 2020. Thanks for being here and looking for the best fit for your pet. As a purr-fessional pet photographer, sitter and caretaker, I’ve mastered the skills necessary for effective animal communication and bonding. Fur real, your pets will be in good hands. Growing up with Dobermans, Puggles, Pitbulls, German Shepherds, wiener dogs and Chihuahuas, I am well experienced with handling all types of dogs. No bones about it. 🐿🐇🐸🦎I've had a chipmunk, a rabbit, toads, and even a gecko. I love animals with all my heart and soul. We love making pets feel at home, purr-fectly pampered, like cat's pajamas. 👉Most pets sleep with us in our beds unless specifically asked to be crated. I'm not one to use crates, but will if that is desired. I'm also willing to sleep downstairs on a pull-out bed. Whatever works best, we will work out the tail-wagging details. 👉I have no issues with medications and assisting animals with special needs or behaviors. 👉I won't take in more than one animal if requested. 💚Fair warning: many pets may not want to leave and may miss my partner and me for a few days, especially after longer stays! I want to know your dog's personality so I can appropriately respond. I'd like to know any treats or special toys they love. I also would like to know their eating behaviors, diet, and potty needs. Anything else you feel I should know is obviously important. Please remember to supply the following: Poopy bags, Dog bed, food, bowls, toys, snacks, cages, medicines and any special requirements.
A typical day
Some boarders host many dogs at the same time, use crates and function like an animal herding operation. Nothing wrong with that for sure. However, it can be hectic- for both the animal keeper and the animals. From paws to claws, I try to create a very calm and safe space for pets, especially those that are not used to being away from home. This house is a gentle escape. What you will find here is calm but quiet music and relaxing but subtle aromas. When pets stay with us, they are respected guests that are shown extra love and attention. It is hard for me to not constantly play and pet animals when they are around. Therefore, they won't spend more than a minute alone and will always have something new to do in order to reduce any anxiety or boredom. We will go on walks, car rides, dog parks, and hang out. We have an outdoor room that many pets love also.
