Pet care experience
Hi! I’m a day 1 dog person. Have grown up with pets my whole life and have experience with large animal care (horses) and the tiniest of creatures, too. My Aussie cattle dog, Ringo, is an extension of me and we run, play fetch, lounge and adventure. I have the flexibility of a remote job, which allows me to care for my pet with ease and yours, too! Ringo and I have an active relationship so I would hope to have the same with your pet, or not if they aren’t into it! I’m happy to exercise your animal and abide by any feeding/care guidelines you give. I hope that my pet and yours could be friends if your pet enjoys other animals! Happy to meet you and your pet and accommodate last minute schedules or bookings. Helpful things to know... Tell me about your furry friend! How does your pet get along with other dogs? What types of activities are fun for your pet? Does your pet have any past injuries or experiences that affect the way he/she interacts with other dogs, animals or people? Are there particular types of treats that are O.K./not good for your pet? How can I best exceed your expectations in caring for your pet? I want to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible in our interactions. I don't want to seem like a stranger coming into your home! I am happy to meet you and your pet before our appointment. Alex is the perfect sitter for hyper dogs like mine! She's extremely active and so is her dog Ringo. Beau and Ringo hit it off immediately and I loved picking up a tired pup at the end of the visit. Definitely will be asking her to sit again!

I can only accept dogs that are friendly with other dogs. Whether your animal is crate trained or not is not a huge deal to me, but they need to be house trained. I will provide plenty of outside breaks so don't worry about that. And let me know if there are particular times or a schedule that your pet operates best on. I know Ringo has particular times he likes to eat and go outside, so I try my best to always be consistent with those.
A typical day
For sure, we will take lots of walks, play with toys and lounge around my apartment. Ringo loves to play, play, play. So I hope your dog likes to play, too.
