Although I’m new to the Rover app, I’ve always found caring for animals to be an integral part of my life. From a young age I’ve been inspired by the love and companionship a household pet can offer, be that a: dog, cat, bird, snake, lizard, fish or even small arthropods. In fact animals are so important to me that I’ve even made it my life’s work. This year I graduated with a bachelor’s in biological sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi. My focus is mainly related to Ornithological (bird) sciences and I have a proven track record (volunteer and employment based) with the National Audubon Society(References available upon request). I have recently moved back to Florida in preparation to continue my education and to be closer to my family. Our Fur-family consists of a Pembroke/Welsh Corgi named Penny, an indoor kitty named Cyan and two indoor/outdoor cats named Clover and Ms.Kits (who mostly keep to themselves).
